Finally, it seems like spring has arrived. Testament to that are the numbers of daffodils, crocuses (did I spell that right?), and other brave flowers that have managed to survive the winter and are now waking up to enjoy some warmth. Today the temperature has been forecast to be in the 70's F, which as anyone who lives in a cold climate knows, is not too bad for the end of March.
Of course, that's not to say that we won't be rugged up again tomorrow, but for today I'm sporting a shirt-sleeved shirt. I could even be using the snow shovel come tomorrow morning, the weather is so unpredictable here. At least in Australia, if it said fine, it's like that's what it would be for the next week (usually more if you look at the drought stricken areas of the country).
I'm creating this posting whilst at the house of a friend. I have been coming over and giving her some techie support as she creates some spreadsheets for use in her Girl Scouts group activities. Nice to see that ther Girl Scouts is still going along, because it is a great way for kids of all ages to get together and learn about themselves, others, and the world. My friend is the perfect person for this organisation; she has one of those infectious personalities that grows on you so easily; she also is perhaps the hardest working person I have even come across, and yet she never complains. I've not got to know too many people on a personal basis here, but I am so happy that I did meet her.
Well, back to the spreadsheets...more later.
